Simply great! I wouldn't have thought that the food here would be so great... the couple has traveled around the world and worked in excellent restaurants. The two of them have made a dream come true for themselves and their guests with their own restaurant in the Heimattal. The landlord speaks excellent German, his wife speaks excellent English... both are happy to explain the dishes and the wine list... surprising that there hasn't been a star reviewer yet!

Superb Gastronomic experience! Al Lumin was recommended to us by a local shop owner. Amazing, special experience-- one of the highlights of our trip. Artisianal perfection. Extra special artisian food experience. Husband-wife team- husband is chef, wife is maitre d', host, sommalier- have over 50 years' experience internationally in the restaurant business. Super nice hosts, multilingual Quiet out of the way spot Recommend: the cheeses board w local artisianal cheeses, with cave-aged goat cheese The handmade pumpkin ravioli; The Souve bianco (Veneto) wine; Handmade pasta dishes. Exceptional service. Offered to give us a ride up the mountain to our hotel. They were kind. An experience we will never forget One of the highlights of our trip. Don't miss this place. Worth the effort to get there!

Ristorante di qualità e di livello alto nel cuore della val Zoldana. Giusto, ricercatezza e originalità che sposano la tradizione locale. Eccezionali gli gnocchi fatti in casa; i secondi di carne sono un capolavoro. Consiglio il filetto di maiale e i bigoli cacio pepe e crudo di gamberi. Servizio cortese e attento al cliente Prezzo adeguato alla qualità Esperienza da rifare

Magical place, excellent food, fresh raw materials and lots of love in the dishes. Wonderful view and welcoming place, we ate outside with a wonderful view of the mountains and the feeling was that of being in your own garden having dinner. Wonderful discovery.

Quiet, intimate and welcoming restaurant (few seats, I recommend booking). The owner clearly knows what she's doing, she has that "customer attention" that isn't found everywhere. Exquisite food, excellent quality of products and everything freshly cooked. A big round of applause goes to the homemade pumpkin tortelli with salted ricotta... more than delicious. The Angus steak was also very good. Don't forget the bread, also highly appreciated. The only flaw is the increased service charge on the bill for sharing a dish (even the cover charge was a bit pricey from my point of view). However, I would happily go back and recommend it!

26/08/2024: Arriving at the House in the woods was the realization of several expectations, a beautiful place, peaceful, quiet, fresh, very clean with amazing cuisine... Arriving from a hot city to spend 7 days in the Belluno area and having a starting point at visits to the Dolomites, various incredible natural areas, towns etc. and then returning in the evening, shower and then dinner outdoors with a view and sunset.... Who could offer this? Two wonderful people like Denise and Max, they too had a dream and they made it come true. How much love, effort (the meadows, the donkeys, the cultivated vegetables....) commitment (delicious cuisine, carefully prepared, attentive to needs and desires, never boring...) All this just for two!!! From two people who love like this, you can only receive beautiful things!!! Don't ever change!!!!
