Fascinating place where you can breathe the true Roman spirit, excellent food, excellent service, welcoming atmosphere, I recommend it to all those who want to spend a nice time enjoying excellent dishes.

dinner on Thursday 1 August 2024. trattoria with excellent Roman cuisine. simple environment as it should be. and so far so good... we are the last ones (9pm) on the last day before the holidays and the owner does not fail to point it out to us as he is almost annoyed by our presence and tries in any way to speed up our exit from the place (which happens at 10pm).. all with the soundtrack of the shutter lowering behind us. oh well there are days like that.

Accoglienza cordiale e calorosa da parte del proprietario ed atmosfera suggestiva (specie se si è tifosi di calcio). Qualità del cibo ottima, ho ordinato una pasta alla gricia che ho trovato del tutto sensazionale, arrivata tra l’altro in tempi brevi. Da provare assolutamente se siete alla ricerca di un ottimo pasto tipico romano, servito in un ambiente altrettanto tradizionale

Here time stopped in 1912, the year the negotiation opened. Furnishings and style handed down over time... the chef (I think he is the owner) divides his time between welcoming customers, cooking and serving tables, a true Roman all-rounder! If you want to immerse yourself in pure Roman style you are in the right place but... there Carbonara is not the best! We could do better 🤷‍♀️

The staff was very helpful and extremely kind and courteous, the dishes were very tasty and typical of Rome, the service was very fast and the environment was full of memorabilia from Lazio. We hope to return soon.

06/09/2024: Il ristorante da Nino, che si trova nel bel mezzo di Via Merulana fra le due basiliche, e’ un porto sicuro per la cucina romana. Le fettuccine ai funghi porcini sono veramente spaziali e seppur sprovvisto di forno a legna fa una pizza romana veramente speciale!!!

18/12/2024: We had such an amazing time there. The staffs are super nice, friendly and professional. The restaurant has a very cool and cosy vibe with a great range of options to choose from. The food is so delicious and well cooked and has variety of tastes; we ordered 1kg fish for 2 and vegetables which was so tasty. They also have a couple of different types of bread which were all so delicious. I would strongly recommend them and would definitely go there again in the future. Had the best restaurant experience ever.
14/12/2024: This place brought a joyful and loving experience! The food was served by a warm-hearted mom with such a sunny smile and joy that it felt like it was sprinkled with a pinch of love. The food was truly delicious—so much so that we didn't feel disappointed about missing out on visiting Villa D’Este, which turned out to be closed. But it didn’t matter, as the love in the restaurant stayed with us for the rest of the time. Thank you ❤️🥰😘
