Pleasant, good characteristic variety

Nice little wine bar with a few seats on the street. If you can get an outside table, then enjoy a glass of wine. I tried the bruschetta (5euro) with a glass of an Etna bianco. The wine was fine. The bruschetta was terrible. Soggy bread, no olive oil, and just flavorless tomato salsa spread on top. Not approved! I've had free bruschetta in Italy that puts this 5 euro version to shame.

Gran bar de vinos. Preciosa comida y vino. Personal muy amable y acogedor. Fuimos dos veces durante nuestro tiempo en Taormina y recomendaría encarecidamente. La caponata fue increíble!

Nice wines, service/owner very friendly

Das Al Grappolo d'Uva befindet sich direkt gegenüber des Restaurants Taverna Don Nino. Sehr hübsch eingerichtet, bietet die weinstube allerdings nicht nur Wein, sondern auch eine kleine Speisekarte als praktische Weinbegleitung. Wer möchte, kann sich sogar einen Becher Wein to go mitnehmen. Das lohnt sich vor allem dann, wenn man beispielsweise in der üblichen langen Schlange der Taverna Don Nino anstehen muss. Ein Glas Wein kostet zwischen 5 und 7 €, je nach Rebsorte. Der Besuch lohnt sich aber dadurch dass der Platz sehr begrenzt ist, ist es meistens voll. Später ab 21:30 Uhr hat man vielleicht etwas mehr Glück freie Tische zu finden.
