My wife and I have eaten at Al Gnotul several times. The place is very quaint and exudes Friulian tradition, culture, and hospitality. We've always had a wonderful time. The owners are very kind in their advice and hospitality. They serve simple Friulian cuisine, prepared with great care and simplicity. First time I had dinner I was very satisfied! I was with locals who took me there! Only the bread they bring you 4 different types of water included in the cover charge, a trio of good first courses, super meat, delicious desserts and plenty of them! I recommend it to everyone because it's worth it!

Husband-and-wife team Ranieri and Laura lovingly manage the restaurant, dedicated to preserving the rich flavors and traditions of authentic Friulan cuisine. Every visit feels like a warm hug, with hearty dishes that showcase the region's culinary heritage. I highly recommend booking the place in advance!

Actually, everything was full, and we didn't have a reservation. But they managed to find a table for the two of us. The service was very friendly, and they even tried to speak German. The food was also very good!

Excellent little restaurant, with a booking absolutely necessary, because the few tables are normally taken a week in advance. The food is local and absolutely scrumptious. The staff-owners are very charming and the prices are rally affordable. We cannot recommend it enough (we’ve gone twice in one week to try the local plates we were interested in!)
