Dinner at this restaurant on a weeknight. We booked online 1 hour before.
Very pleasant and professional welcome.
We tried the risotto, a local specialty.
It was very good, well presented and very tasty. The risotto was creamy as can be.
The tiramisu was ok but nothing more. The other dessert was very good though.

The Gatto Verde Scarenna is a restaurant that deserves a visit not only for its particular and fascinating name, but also for the attention and kindness of the staff. The owner, Alessandro, stands out for his availability and passion, and his culinary skill makes him a high-class chef.
I had the pleasure of tasting a menu of the evening that really impressed me. We start with an organic egg appetizer cooked at 63 degrees, accompanied by mountain potatoes, fresh porcini mushrooms and a delicious dairy fondue: a dish that enhances the quality of the ingredients and the art of preparation.
The first course, a Carnaroli risotto with porcini mushrooms, represented a journey of flavours. The creaminess of the risotto, combined with the intensity of the porcini mushrooms, created a truly memorable gastronomic experience.
For second course, I chose the creamed Potentino roast veal, served with sautéed porcini mushrooms. The meat was very tender and rich in flavor, while the porcini mushrooms added a rustic and fragrant note.
Finally, to conclude on a sweet note, I savored a vanilla panna cotta with sbrisolona berries, a perfect ending that balanced freshness and creaminess.
In conclusion, the Gatto Verde Scarenna is a place where the passion for cooking combines with impeccable service. I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a high quality, authentic dining experience.

The restaurant has a beautiful ambience.
The staff was very polite and friendly.
The items on the menu are selective but rare and extremely delicious!
Strongly recommend this one, everything we tried was a delight!
