We ate at this restaurant in May, after making a reservation (a tip I'd give if you want a table). There were no faults in the welcome, the food, or the setting.
The staff is attentive and attentive, just what you need to ensure you have a good time.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

The best eating experience in all ways I had in Italy. From the kind personalized service, to the atmosphere, the crockery, cutlery, all give an amazing vibe before even the food arrives. The food was just delectable. I had the spider crab tortellini. And it was divine. The paired wine suggested complimented it. It was extremely reasonable in cost also! I cannot recommend this treasure more - just make a reservation so you don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime experience.

Recommend by several establishments we had a reservation for lunch. And lucky for us as the owner, Maximillian (pictured) was telling people it was all full with reservations for lunch. I was told it is a long time family owned and run and Maximillian is selecting the fresh fish personally at 6:00 am every morning still.
His restaurant was excellent. One of the best meals in Venice.
I highly recommend the local version or Risotto with the Venetian lagoon fish Gó or Goby. A thick creamy risotto served al dente.
Sea Bass for two prepared expertly table side. And so tender and flavorful. Perfect.
Oh - and it seems Michelin Recommended this year? I can see why.

We had a great time at the Al Gatto Nero restaurant. We enjoyed langoustine pasta, sea bass fillet and tiramisu. The latter was a little too sweet for our taste, but the rest was really delicious. Remember to book before going. I recommend!

One of the best fish restaurants I've ever been to or even the best! If you like fish and are in Burano you MUST go to this restaurant. It was wonderful. Staff very very friendly and service top. Prices also OK. for what you get. Would go again and again!

We were in Burano in April 2025 and stopped by spontaneously. Despite the crowds, we were given a table right by the water without a reservation. The service was always friendly and quick. I ordered the spaghetti all vongole. It was the best spaghetti all vongole I have ever eaten. A 10 out of 10. Would recommend anyone to go to this restaurant when visiting Burano. The restaurant rightly deserves the Michelin star!
