Fast and friendly service and the food was so delicious

On our last night in Venice, we chose here to eat dinner. The staff were making jokes and we had a fun time. They've made an effort to translate the menu multiple times as well.

Very tasty! Perfect for a meal if you're lost in the alleys of Venice.

The first time we walked by this restaurant and stopped to look at the menu, a man that I believe is the owner came out to try to get us to come in. We gave a short, "still looking" response, and he just shrugged and went back inside rather than continuing to try to bring us in. We ended up returning after looking at a few other places. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside where the majority of people were also sitting. Several people who were dining before and after us seemed to be on a first name basis with the man I believe to be the owner. The service was good, and while not the super attentive American style service, it also wasn't the super relaxed Italian service either. The Squid Ink pasta was pretty good and had good flavor. The Carbonara looked to be bacon but was still decent. The Tiramisu had a chocolate drizzle on top but overall was also pretty good. You need to get away from the most touristy parts of Venice to find the best food, but with that said, this is pretty good for such a central location and we had worse from a much more high end restaurant in Venice. Overall I would recommend.

Fast and attentive service. A bit touristy and slightly pushy. Food was solid but a bit bland. The quantity and price were good for the location.

A quiet place near the canal. While you have lunch or enjoy a drink, you have the opportunity to hear the song of the gondoliers who ride near you. Friendly staff. Marko, the owner of the place, is a legend, he pays attention to every guest. And most importantly, he is against paying for a seat if you sit down and take a chair, which is not the case in other places, but they also charge you for the service. I recommend the place and would come back again. You feel at home and not a tourist.

Very satisfying daily menu 19 euros. Price of drinks correct.
