Excellent service, kind and helpful, attentive to customer requests. The pappardelle needs to be reviewed, I would have avoided adding pepper. The vegetable starter is excellent, the cured meats need to be reviewed. The desserts are good, the price is fair for a large family. We will return to try the meat too.

The food and service were quite good, but the final bill, which was a single sum without specifying the prices of the dishes ordered, added up to an extra €10. Then I bought a kilo of chestnuts for €5 per kilo. When I got home to weigh the quantity, to my great disappointment, it weighed 800 grams, not 1 kg as I was told. A few euros won't change my life. However, the restaurant owner's embarrassment remains.

We found this restaurant by chance, and we were attracted by the possibility of eating mushrooms to our heart's content.
We did, in fact, find a menu dedicated to porcini mushrooms, but unfortunately.... Flavorless and fragrant.

Pleasant and refined setting, with a welcoming atmosphere and always friendly and helpful staff. The mushroom dishes are excellent: fresh, fragrant, and cooked with great care. From the tagliatelle with mushrooms to the more substantial main courses, everything was tasty and beautifully presented. Prices are fair for the quality and service offered. An excellent choice for those who love authentic cuisine and the flavors of the forest.

I highly recommend this restaurant. At Ristorante Al Fungo Velenoso in Montoro, you can feel the passion for cuisine and local products. The dishes, from starters to desserts, are special, prepared with genuine, high-quality ingredients, expressing tradition in a simple and authentic way. The owner was incredibly kind and explained every dish to us, and the staff was always attentive and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic flavors and a sincere welcome!
