Sea and land dishes cooked to perfection and very tasty.
Definitely get the "real no stick chips" because they are a double frying delight.
For dessert, however, there is a ponche tiramisu which is really tasty, I recommend it.
The staff is 6 star, practical, fast and extremely helpful. It was a pleasure to chat for a few minutes even after dinner.
An experience to be repeated as soon as possible.

Visiting Livorno, I visited this restaurant at the suggestion of a friend who praised the land-based menu. Expectations were fully satisfied by the competence of the chef who joined us at the table and illustrated the dishes in great detail (and also with a lot of sympathy and friendliness).
I tried some very special battered fried potatoes (never eaten before) and an excellent pappardella with wild boar ragout. The Livorno punch is also excellent, a real treat at the end of the meal.
Professional and at the same time informal service from the dining room staff, amiable conversations with the chef, excellent aroma coming from the kitchen, quality food and an absolutely fair price.
I highly recommend it, also and above all for the approach to the managers' profession. The world of catering is increasingly crowded with people who are not very competent and not very correct, which is why I felt compelled to say a few words for the passionate managers of this restaurant who, on the contrary, know how to do their job very well.
I will definitely come back next time I come to Livorno.

The room was not large and although it was full it did not give the impression of being crowded; there were eight of us comfortably, and free enough to converse. I ate the "tordelli" from Lucca which were really good... I had been to Lucca a few days before but I didn't find them so good, both for the filling and for the ragù. Then I limited myself to fried potatoes in batter which took me back to memories of my youth, when there were chip shops and takeaways in the city and street food had not yet been invented, then scagliozzi and delicious sautéed beans. The ponciamisu is a must try. It was a great experience!

We had a wonderful meal here. Our original plan was to visit a different restaurant, but they were fully booked so we decided to try Al Fosso Reale. Great menu of local dishes with warm and friendly service. We had the ravioli with pistachio sauce and the pasta with wild boar - both exceptional dishes. We finished with a salad and the fried polenta. The glasses of house white were the perfect accompaniment. Prices were incredibly reasonable. We definitely wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Provato alla fine di una visita a Livorno. Menù di pesce e carne presentato con la lavagna. Titolare e cameriera molto simpatici e professionali. Menù non enorme ma di qualità a prezzi molto onesti. Ci torneremo

Se in un ristorante, arrivando poco prima della chiusura, trovi gentilezza e disponibilità, ed ogni piatto è accompagnato da un sorriso facendoti sentire il benvenuto non penso si possa chiedere di più. Poi piatti buoni, porzioni giuste ed un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo anche senza sconto The Fork che è stato regolarmente applicato.
Molto consigliato.
