Al Fontanile In Foligno

We have already been to this restaurant two/three times. In Colfiorito you go both for the cool summer weather and for the excellent food. In this restaurant we found excellent lamb that they tell us is local, excellent first courses and as an appetizer the tart is very good. Average prices. We will definitely return

What can I say, friendly staff attentive to your needs, excellent food to be enjoyed even with the mop, I recommend trying it to believe it, normal price.

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on June 2. We had already been to other places in Colfiorito, but never to "Fontanile", which turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. First I had a plate of gnocchi with lamb sauce, truly exquisite, the gnocchi were like the ones my grandmother used to make, with only potatoes and therefore very soft. My husband asked for tagliatelle al "Fontanile" with porcini mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and bacon, very very tasty. The second courses were also excellent (fried lamb and a potato flan with pecorino fondue present on the menu among the appetizers, but which we requested after the first courses). Finally we enjoyed an exceptional tiramisu and an even more special semifreddo with ricotta and pears. The staff at the tables were young and friendly. Prices in line with the quality of the products and the service.

Top experience. You eat what the chef prepares for you. Everything super tasty, and more than enough. The atmosphere is very homely and very friendly staff. And really not expensive. A recommendation for everyone. Unique and a restaurant where you have to have been if you are in the area. Also have a good B&B across the street that is top.

We paid too much compared to the quality of the food... the desserts chosen were finished at 2.30pm

My partner and I stopped here for lunch after taking a look at the entrance full of photos of Colfiorito from years ago and hearing Pink Floyd in the background and it was a great choice. Very good, fresh food, friendly service, welcoming and cultural environment. Books on the furniture, a photography exhibition on the walls, good music. When we return to the area, we will definitely return here for lunch or dinner.

Osteria immersa nel verde per chi di passaggio o per chi del luogo,non lontano da Perugia,locale accogliente ma servizio poco attento alle tempistiche,antipasti poco sostanziosi ma buoni,primi troppo salati ma rustici,vino buono,prezzi medi.
