really nice place and people. we arrived late after the kitchen and restaurant was closed but they fixed us some amazing charcuterie and wine anyway. cute and clean rooms with comfortable beds 👏🏼

Simple hotel. Rooms, beds, and bathrooms were all adequate and in good condition. A very good restaurant with a bar attached. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Absolutely excellent value for money. Definitely recommended. Limited charging options for e-bikes, but available.

Historic Carnic "ambience". The fogolar is there and is the attraction of the entrance hall, giving a further feeling of welcome. The dining room has a brick kitchen with hanging pots, recalling the Friulian tradition. Consequently, the menu presents typical dishes, with some reinterpretations and "external" additions. Small detail: you don't pay for bread and cover charge. On weekdays, there is the possibility of a menu of the day at a truly competitive price. Recommended. Update June 2025. I can only confirm the goodness of the ingredients and the dishes offered. Competitive price and welcoming Carnic environment. Definitely recommended.

Very nice, quiet place, beautiful old houses around, from the windows a view of all the mountains around! We have a room with a large bathroom, with a private terrace, beauty! Dinner - local cuisine, a hearty meal and off to the mountains! Locals hang out in the osteria, so the place is good ;)

Spent one night there. The hotel and room were very clean and spacious. The small mountain village surrounding it has nothing to offer. You can see everything in 10 minutes 😅 The hotel was a bit noisy, and there wasn't really a "view" from our room. I would describe it as "sideways looking at the mountain through ugly roof gables and clutter" (as advertised). But it was absolutely fine for one night. The beds were comfortable, the food in the on-site osteria was also delicious, and the staff were super friendly despite the language barrier!

Very quiet, and nice place! The rooms are ok, simple and basic. The cuisine is good in its simplicity, attention and friendliness of the staff. It can be found very easily by following the directions on the navigator. The landscape is very beautiful and there are many places to visit nearby. Advise!

08/06/2025: After a few years I visit this place again. Delicious pizza, unique view. Great place!
07/06/2025: We ended up at this village by accident in te first place. But we loved the entire authentic vibe. Especially the kind hearted and caring people (sth with a mtb that broke down). We didn t plan to go out for dinner but... then we saw this place. It looked inviting although only local people were there and it was siesta time. Since I didnt feel like cooking we first asked if it was possible to pay by card. Luckily it was! It was Still early so we first went to the waterfall (which u can apparently ice climb in winter!! *when we are more experienced climbers we will surely try) We loved it. Maybe because we were outside the season. We didnt visit the mines although we understood that the visit was worthwhile. Coming back to the review of this inn. We absolutely adored it. We hardly speak Italian but the woman who helped us was so kind. And the food was amazing!! We had a starter first with cheese and meat but the best of all: their flatbread. We would definitely go back to just ask the recipe for that one! We first wanted to order 2 pizza's but after the starter we Just shared 1 and the taste was amazing too. So cheers to all of the people who still live in the village and shout out to this tasty place!
