Al Filatoio In Rezzato

We had dinner as a couple on a Saturday evening. I had called in the afternoon to make a reservation. The place isn't very large, but it's truly beautiful and the atmosphere is quite intimate (unless there are large tables). The service was courteous and quick. They don't have a menu; the dishes are suggested verbally by the waitress. The food was very good and, above all, freshly prepared. Good value: 4 starters, 2 main courses, 4 side dishes, 4 desserts, 1/2 cup of wine, 2 cups of water, less than €120. The only flaws, in my opinion, are the lack of prices for the dishes (it would be nice to know the price before ordering) and the fact that the portions aren't particularly generous (though none of us left feeling hungry). Otherwise, I was very satisfied and will definitely return.

Family evening. Excellent tagliolini with pumpkin and chestnuts; Beef in olive oil was so-so, I've had better; Baked potatoes were tender and delicious; More than decent sparkling white wine; Good apple pie. Coffee... There's better. I can't comment on the price because I was a guest.

The day menu is valid until 15 o'clock. The prices are good. Everything was delicious, the only thing was that the salad was a bit bitter.

Hidden Gem of a restaurant! We were staying at the Villa Fenaroli Palace Hotel in Rezzato. Their restaurant was closed due to wedding receptions. Luckily for us we walked into the Filatoio Restaurant and after two weeks of Italian dining we came upon this gem. Everything from arriving to when we departed was perfect. The food was exceptional, the wine was perfect and the staff were attentive. Best Italian meal of our vacation. As far as price was concerned we couldn’t believe the value for the quality of the food. Recommend you get a reservation and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent business lunch, only note, you can't book... But the legendary Mauro and his very fast staff will quickly find you a place. We ate really well.
