Finally genuine cuisine without many frills, few dishes but well made with fresh ingredients and many grown by the owners, very kind people always with a smile, abundant dishes and low prices reminded me a lot of my grandmother's cooking, homemade desserts.

A "simple" family-run restaurant. Spectacular appetizers with some ingredients that come directly from the owner. The first courses are an explosion of flavours. The second courses, especially the scalloped lamb, are exceptional. You have to come in and rely on them, all seasoned with friendliness and professionalism.

The good family-run neighborhood restaurant that doesn't disappoint. The dishes of the day, the authenticity of the ingredients, a simple and clean environment and the pleasure of a chat while waiting for the food... Recommended. Returning periodically, often on Sundays, I confirm the goodness of this place where everything tastes of home, of warmth, of goodness.

Very well received, generous and delicious food, everything is homemade. You should not come to Rome without stopping by this restaurant. Beautiful example of Italian life. Thanks to Routard for the address.

Authentic 100% Roman tradition. Served with pleasure and offering unbeatable Italian specialties. It's like eating nonna's food at home. To top it off: good prices. Safety pin!!!!!

04/08/2024: Always a point of reference in Northern Rome. Very high quality. Try everything... both sweets and the famous buttons stuffed in the most imaginative ways.
31/07/2024: Excellent place, incredible service, friendliness, the price is high, yes, normal in exclusive areas of Rome, but also less crowded than others. It is worth trying the variety of products they have.

Osteria "Dar Matriciano"

24/08/2024: Very nice and welcoming place, with few seats outside due to the position they occupy. The guys who served us were all friendly and very quick in service. What about the food, all delicious and very special even if it reflects the culinary tradition of Lazio and the Castelli Romani! I recommend you try all their fried appetizers which are so good I didn't even take a photo! 🙃 I will definitely be back!
