Location of this restaurant is in a cave.
The atmosphere is there from the start. Some main courses are prepared with a kind of show cooking at the table.
The food is delicious.. The dishes are of a slightly higher level..
The carpaccio was the best I have ever eaten with the minimum of ingredients. The grilled calemare was also tasty..the dessert, the canoli recommended by the waiter, was delicious.. However, big eaters will not get their money's worth here..
There is a very extensive wine list and you should definitely try the wines of the region.
The prices are not too bad.. Friendly staff.. Highly recommended..

Beautiful stylish restaurant in a cave. There weren't many guests there, the friendly, nice employee was very attentive. The starters of roasted peppers and peas bacon ravioli with squid were very good, the rombo was also tasty. Unfortunately the flambéed beef fillet was raw and was ordered medium. After complaining to the boss, who had also flambéed the fillet, the only comment that came was whether the fillet should be better fried.
It's a shame that the boss only knows how to eat raw or fried.
You expect more in a Michelin recommended restaurant.

Elegant, smart and friendly restaurant serving well prepared tasty food. The tasting menu is good value with 5 courses, an amuse bouche would be welcome but wasn’t included. The wine list extensive but not overpriced. A relaxing evening with excellent service, most enjoyable.

For dinner at the Dragone, returning after 15 years, because I had a good memory, we decided on a tasting menu for €50, the food was good, the service and location were perfect, but I have to criticize the quantities. Starter 1 cold
1 hot, very scarce, first course half portion, correct
Second 50 g of sea bass without praise, to finish 1 spoonful of ice cream, good but not much, after the meal nothing was offered to us.

We went to this place two years ago and were impressed by the environment and the staff... this year we returned to Vieste and we chose to return to the same restaurant again, it's really a beautiful, welcoming place and you can really eat very good... even if a little far away we hope to return soon... now a fixed stop I recommend it 💯

Veramente il TOP! In tutto: dagli ambienti, al cibo, al personale! Tutto di alta qualità! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! Abbiamo optato per 2 menù degustazione che si son rivelati essere ottimi e di classe! Veramente complimenti al titolare, allo chef e a tutto il personale! Consigliatissimo e da provare assolutamente!

Appena arrivati a Vieste abbiamo optato per una cena al "Dragone". Location suggestiva e raffinata, ricavata da quella che - ci è stato spiegato dal titolare - era forse una grotta teatro del culto della dea Vesta.
