I've been to this restaurant several times. The prosciutto is definitely top-notch, among the best in the area. Excellent first courses and exquisite desserts. Generous portions. Fast and courteous service.
I've never used the rooms.

It can't be considered a hotel because it doesn't have an active reception (you can't check in before 4 pm, it has no services, check out with a simple "put the keys there, goodbye"). The rooms are large (they are apartments), furnished to the bare minimum, perhaps ironing the pillowcases and getting them to the right size could be a good idea (for a moment I thought they hadn't been changed). The breakfast was not bad.

We had lunch at Dolcenero, a clean and welcoming place; excellent service! The waiters were very friendly, kind, and professional. The food was excellent, and the 36-month-old prosciutto was spectacular! Highly recommended!

We had lunch at the restaurant on the occasion of a family ceremony. The food was very good and the service was efficient and fast, the place was a bit small and undersized compared to the amount of seats set up.

Recensione Ristorante "Al Dolcenero" – San Daniele del Friuli.
Se passate da San Daniele del Friuli e cercate un posto dove mangiare bene senza spendere una follia, "Al Dolcenero" è una tappa obbligata. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato, perfetto sia per un pranzo veloce che per una cena rilassata.
Uno dei punti forti sono sicuramente i primi piatti a 10 euro: porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e una preparazione che rispetta la tradizione friulana. Un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero difficile da battere in zona.
Ma il vero colpo di scena arriva già con l’antipasto: crudo Camarin stagionato 36 mesi, affettato al momento, profumatissimo e dal gusto pieno e rotondo.
Nel complesso, un’esperienza più che positiva. Ottimo cibo, prezzi giusti e un servizio gentile. Consigliato.
