Al Cuore del Molise In Roma

A wonderful local restaurant with some of the best-tasting food around!

I went with friends for lunch in this historic restaurant in the old Monteverde area, a stone's throw from the Janiculum. Small but welcoming place with a good wine cellar including the Tintilia vine typical of Molise. Always from the Molise area, extraordinary cured meats and cheeses. It is also possible to eat the classic Roman low pizza and the fried foods, all of which are really good. All the staff are courteous and professional which is not easy these days. We will definitely be back to try other products.

In the heart of old Monteverde, this small restaurant offers Molise cuisine where you can enjoy land and sea dishes, pizza and desserts prepared by them. The innkeeper and his lady are very nice and will be able to advise you on the best. Don't forget to order a bottle of Tintilia, pure red nectar from the native grape.
