An incredible, truly unique flavor... obviously, tastes vary, but so far, this is the best pizza by the slice I've ever had. It hasn't changed over time and is simply spectacular!

This is absolutely one of the best pizzas we ate in whole Sardinia. A very traditional and extremely welcoming pizzeria with a single type of pizza, yet so tasty. Also only 1,80€ per slice.

22/07/2025: A hidden gem for pizza lovers! These phenomenal hand-made pizza slices are simply unforgettable – small, perfectly crafted pieces full of flavour. We highly recommend stopping by around 10:30, when the first fresh batch comes out of the oven – that’s when they’re at their absolute best. They hold up well throughout the day, but nothing beats catching them fresh in the morning. Definitely worth a try!

30/08/2025: I went with my partner and we chose the 8-course Rurale tasting menu. The dinner was sublime, the service impeccable, and the passion of the chef and the restaurant staff was evident in every course. We also really appreciated the attention to detail and customer service. This will be a regular stop every time we come to Sardinia. Truly, congratulations!
28/08/2025: An excellent setting to sample Chef Giuseppe's delicious creations, accompanied by the gracious and knowledgeable maître d' Rossella. You simply must visit Mattacchione at least once to experience unique and unexpected pairings. Each visit is a new discovery of unexpected flavors. And each visit confirms the previous experience!
