Having visited Sicily several times and growing up in a Sicilian household, I've tried countless pane panelle and pani c’a meusa, and this spot beats them all. The atmosphere is authentically local, with friendly people and fresh, hot food made to order. The panelle is perfectly crisp, not oily, and the meusa (or milza) is incredibly tender. The rich flavor of the meusa with caciocavallo cheese—a fantastic combination. The sandwiches come with lemon and salt, but extra lemons are on the counter if you like more. I highly recommend trying either sandwich and washing it down with a beer.

I'm convinced that you can find the best focaccia with spleen in the world here, considering it's a typically Palermo specialty. I write this with full knowledge of the facts, having tried other renowned establishments in the city. In business for several decades, the place is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and the prices are average. Well done, great job 👏🏼

Typical. The best spleen sandwich in all of Sicily, and the panelle and crocchè sandwich are also wonderful. If you're passing through Palermo, it's impossible not to stop here for lovers of this kind. I'll be back every chance I get.

01/01/2026: Lunch, January 1, 2026 Godiva has an excellent reputation for its creative food and flavorful dishes. Compagnia della Vela with Catering, Godiva Restaurant, confirms the excellent lunch, expertly executed by the staff. The appetizers were excellent, with excellent presentation and flavor, and the arancina and mussels were sublime. First courses: Rice flan with a pea and shrimp sauce was excellent. Ravioli with swordfish roe and clams were excellent. Perfectly cooked. Despite the crowds. The main course was equally delicious. To end the lunch, an excellent cheesecake. Congratulations, until next time.

09/01/2026: A truly innovative and up-to-date restaurant, offering a wide variety of dishes, the best of which, in my opinion, are the pizzas with chicken and barbecue sauce, and the well-seasoned and delicious burgers. One of the special features of this restaurant, and therefore of its staff, is their skill in seasoning their dishes, using generous amounts of sauces or cheeses. For example, the burgers pictured here weren't dry; in fact, one bite led to another. This is complemented by excellent cooking, making them crispy and delicious. The menu is truly extensive and includes both typical Bagheria dishes, like sfincione, and other dishes that combine tradition and innovation. Congratulations, I highly recommend you continue this tradition. We're delighted to always find new surprises, and above all, your kitchen is always clean and tasty, along with the friendly and attentive service of your staff.
