I don't usually leave reviews but this time it's a must. Yesterday, after an excursion to the Stiffe caves, we called this restaurant which was closing but they did us the courtesy of waiting five minutes longer for us to eat. We had the truffle bruschetta, tagliatelle with mushrooms and river prawns, coffee and homemade dry sweets. What can I say... everything was excellent but a note of merit goes to the service of the owner who explained the history of all the dishes to us and literally waited on us and revered us throughout the lunch. We will definitely come back when we have the chance, thanks for everything ♥️

Three of us had lunch, Bruschetta with truffle, Pappardelle with mushrooms and truffle, Crayfish, sweets, bitters and sweets Everything excellent and well prepared, 105E total. Well spent and will return. Strong points: everything prepared by them locally, the owner kind and sociable.

Oh mama Only for true lovers of good truffles, the real one. It's really true that good wine comes in a small package, there's no need for much pomp but substance and here there is none. The black truffle crostini is delicious and beautifully full. NO JAR STUFF. Here they do serious things. After a visit to the Stiffe caves, you ABSOLUTELY must not miss this stop.... and I won't tell you the truffle pappardelle, I'm moved 🥹 Absolutely low prices because they collect it. A round of applause to these places and we hope they remain open as long as possible.

We were welcomed with courtesy by the owner who patiently made sure we were all present, a limited menu in choice, but a guarantee of the freshness of the product. The bruschetta with truffle and the pappardelle with truffle are highly recommended. good quality/price ratio

At first glance it might give a bad impression... but it's really delicious. After all, the environment doesn't matter so much but what counts is "what is great" and "if it is good, it will do well". Honestly best lunch of my life. The owners are very nice and sociable. I recommend it to you

Piatti tipici, prodotti genuini, porzioni abbondanti e personale gentilissimo...la vera ospitalità abruzzese. E per dessert non dimenticate di chiedere le favolose castagne al mosto... Non le troverete così da nessuna altra parte.

11/02/2025: Absolutely must try! The flavor of the fish is delicious and cooked to perfection, without the use of too many condiments that could camouflage the flavours. Abundant quantities and very honest prices. Super friendly and very nice owners. Truly a discovery! We'll be back soon!
02/02/2025: A real surprise! Finding ourselves in the beautiful city of L'Aquila, we searched on Google maps for a fish restaurant nearby, just outside the city. "Lo scoglio" immediately surprised us! Upon entering we found a very nice and clean environment. Well set tables and friendly welcome from the owners. Menu full of fish-based options.. Lots! We tried the house appetizer which took us by the "gluttony". Three hot and cold courses, including an excellent soute of mussels, clams and prawns, all very fresh. Fantastic fish first courses, prepared with "Amore". The second courses are equally excellent, capable of satisfying the most demanding palates. FRESH BIRDS with magnificent baked potatoes! Excellent salt crusted sea bass, fragrant seasoned with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil! Very tender, dry fried fish with no oil residues. A very fresh salad of rocket and orange, abundant and tasty, accompanied the fish! To finish on a high note we tried two particular Sicilian specialties: cassata and cannoli. A sublime sensation! Quality products, prepared with care and passion, friendliness and human warmth contributed to making this experience truly special. Very honest prices! I highly recommend going to this restaurant at least once: I'm sure you'll come back! See you soon!

Hotel Ristorante Paradiso

27/01/2025: I chose this accommodation to go skiing in Ovindoli, I found helpful staff, a lovely warm and clean room, a hot shower, a comfortable bed, an exceptional breakfast, a fair price. Overall I recommend it. It is 20 minutes from the Ovindoli ski lifts.
28/12/2024: Seconda volta in questo locale ma questa volta si sono superati, Cibo ottimo e abbondante ma la cosa che ti colpisce di più è la gentilezza la disponibilità e la simpatia di tutto il personale. bravi bravi bravi!!!!
