We organized a dinner with our school colleagues based on really excellent local pizza and bruschetta. I ordered the amatriciana pizza 🍕 and it was really delicious. Cozy and clean place, helpful and friendly staff. The quality of the local products offered is excellent. I will gladly return. A special applause to the pizza chef who with his fantastic hands creates a truly delicious pizza. Thank you! ~Lucia Paladino~

The company of the Lamb This restaurant represents for me the standard measure for roast meat. They should create a platinum-iridium grid and keep it at the Sevres museum. As far as I'm concerned, every restaurant that offers grilled meat (especially sheep) has to deal, in my taste buds, with Moonlight. The location is a bit on the edge of the town, and you have to climb up the hill that branches off from the main road...a bit as if it were a sanctuary...of embers. The restaurant has a large pergola which allows for a hundred seats. If not very full, parking is quite easy to find. In addition to the grilled meat, I also recommend the lamb innards rolls (always grilled) which in the Stigliano dialect are called "fasc'tidd". Obviously all meat from local farmers, so as they say today, 0 kilometer. An excellent side dish is the salad of tomatoes, onions and chillies from nearby gardens.... from the kilometer we have gone down to 0 decameter. If the volumes allow it , I would say to also order the starters based on porcini mushrooms (Stigliano is surrounded by generous woods) and bruschetta with cheese or truffle or sausage. If you want to go for the former it is best to continue with the porcine method (always in the fungal sense of the term). Or you can turn to excellent pizzas (from the Francone to the one with pistachios and stracciatella). It always works very well, also because we are talking about the raw materials that characterize the Stigliano area. House wine and ridiculous prices make you risk having to roll down the valley (not too much, I recommend because you arrive in San Nicola, where most of Stigliano now rest).
