At the gates of the castle lies this rustic and welcoming trattoria. The outside tables were occupied, so we sat inside. Even from the inside dining room, with the door open, you can enjoy the view of a beautiful village alley. The staff is friendly and helpful, contributing to the enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent and seasonal. The strozzapreti with ragù is wonderful and balanced. The unripe peaches with truffle are also worth trying.

A charming venue, located immediately beneath Caetani Castle. The owner is truly kind and courteous with his customers. We visited on Sunday, May 18th, and were immediately greeted with the smiles you deserve, not just as guests, but as friends. The table service was prompt and precise, and the dishes balanced tradition and innovation. They are also professional truffle hunters, so I highly recommend trying their truffle-based dishes.

Ristorante a gestione familiare piedi del Castello di Sermoneta. Abbiamo provato diversi piatti, tutti straordinari, in particolare quelli con funghi e tartufi locali. Famiglia di tartufai, raccolgono principalmente per il ristorante, quando il prodotto è abbondante lo vendono anche in un negozio di prodotti tradizionali in centro storico.
Tagliolini fatti in casa con porcini (raccolti in stagione e conservati sottovuoto) e tartufi, filetto con tartufi e porcini (carne pazzesca, tenerissima). Tutto indimenticabile!

Their dishes are really very good,
The service is excellent, we had a really smart girl on her first job who served us with courtesy.
The owner is also very courteous.
Unfortunately it cannot be reached by disabled people and the bathrooms are not accessible to disabled people with wheelchairs.

Il personale tutto gentile e disponibile, con la giusta attenzione al cliente.
I piatti fantastici e tipici.
Stra consigliato l’antipasto del castello con prodotti locali e una bruschetta con un olio di serie A.
Molto molto buoni anche gli strozzapreti di Sermoneta.
Ci torneremo sicuramente per assaggiare i secondi.
