Al Cartoccio Due In Cavour

15/02/2026: The hotel is presented by travel agencies as a four-star hotel, and it truly looks and deserves that distinction. A major drawback is that it's not accessible by bus. Buses usually stop 200-300 meters from the hotel, requiring a walk along a technical road covered in mud and snow. A plus is the proximity to the ski rental shop (adjacent to the hotel). The meals offered by the hotel are tasty, but somewhat monotonous. The hotel is very close to the town center.

09/02/2026: Really enjoyed the stay here. The room I had was clean, had a good solid shower, toilet with separate bidet, TV, fridge to put your own drinks, safe, hangers, desk and chair. We had breakfast and dinner each night, which was buffet style. There's a couple of passionate chefs serving up some nicely cooked pasta in particular. There was one night with chicken escalopes cooked really nicely. On the breakfast, you can more or less put together a full English, and their take on baked beans was really good. The lounge bar had a lovely singer covering songs live with backing tracks. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Lastly, there was a free shuttle bus to the ski chair lift, which made things nice and easy.
