I had the pleasure of dining at Gessica Porta's Ai Carel Pizzeria, a restaurant that—as the restaurateur explained—has its roots in the early 1970s. And you can tell right away: you don't just come here to eat, but to breathe in history and tradition.
The restaurant is a true local landmark, a custodian of the culinary traditions of both the lake and the mountains. On my way back from Campiglio, I noticed this little restaurant right on the main road, so I decided to stop in the following week.
A few dishes, but truly delicious, with fantastic hospitality and service!
A special mention for the Lisbon cake!

A small but delightful place in the center of Anfo. I tried the ravioli al bagoss (exceptional!) and a homemade cake with almonds and jam. I don't remember the name, but it tasted delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices were more than fair. Two recommendations: make a reservation because there aren't many spaces, and try to park at the beginning of town because there are practically no parking spaces near the place.

I was passing through Lake Idro for a couple of days, I stopped to eat at Carel and had a wonderful experience in every way: the staff, the food, and the atmosphere. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars.

The reviews don't do it justice. The food is fantastic, from the starter to the dessert (homemade). The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful, they make you feel at home. The atmosphere is welcoming, you can really feel the mountain. It's so good I'd make the hour and a half journey twice, maybe even three or more times.

Recommended for couples and small groups. Reservations are recommended to ensure a spot. Friendly staff. Refined and carefully prepared ingredients and dishes. Worth a try! The pizza also features interesting ingredients.
