Al Cardo In Pinzolo

Typical Trentino restaurant, very large on two floors, lots of seats. Unfortunately I noticed that the tablecloths are not always changed after each change of people at the table, the organization of the service is poor, the waiter got lost with a table and did not consider us to order the coffee, when we went to pay we did not know how to communicate the table to the gentleman who was at the cash register because there wasn't a placeholder with a number or anything else on the table so he didn't know what to do...he asked us to go back to the table and ask the waiter for the number and then go back to the cash register , when we returned to the cash register he had let other people pass by and we had to wait again. The food was nothing special...unfortunately the pizza was all burnt on the edge and the base was raw Good shank but nothing special, but the presentation was terrible, on the skewer there were 2 potato croquettes and nothing more.

A nice experience in the center of Pinzolo, with parking, which is no small thing. Very good pizza and plentiful and tasty first courses. The staff very kind and welcoming. Very nice to our dogs too. We will definitely be back.

I was in the area for work and was looking for a place with typical cuisine. The shank didn't wow me but I can't say it was bad!

Very welcoming environment, in typical Trentino style. Staff always friendly and attentive. Service as you would expect from a good restaurant. Both traditional and well-made culinary offerings. I don't really understand the negative comments regarding timing; maybe I came at lucky times (every time? Miracle 😆!) or because I was alone, but I was always shown to the table straight away, a waiter always came straight away to take the order and the order always arrived in the right time. This is my positive experience in a restaurant where I relaxed in its warmth. I highly recommend the goulash with polenta, excellent.

Son passati due anni dall'ultima volta ma...sempre consigliato. La pizza è veramente buona, i wurstel nostrano accompagnati ai crauti ottimo. Arriva presto o rschi di aspettare fuori

Abbiamo preso solo la pizza, viste le recensioni, discreta vagamente napoletana. Non accetta prenotazioni e quello poco male, il bello che alcuni di noi erano arrivati e preso il tavolo, mentre altre due stavano parcheggiando. Bene il titolare dice che se non sono tutti presenti non si può prendere il tavolo, incredibile. Fatto sta, che da il tavolo ad altri. A quel punto, visto che c'erano bambini che dovevano cenare un gruppo si sposta altrove mentre noi due restiamo, visto che c'è un tavolo per due. Che errore, un ora di attesa e alle nostre lamentele il titolare ci invita a prendere altro e non più la pizza. Rimaniamo della nostra decisione e caso strano, dopo 5 minuti arriva ka pizza, bah, voleva vendere altro?. Comunque molto maleducato, il tre è solo per la pizza altrimenti sarebbe stato uno.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very good and typical local dishes. Very nice and clean location in the center of Pinzolo. Only suggestion: go to eat at 7pm otherwise you will find the queue and wait too long. We arrived a few minutes early and it was empty and we ate immediately.

I have been coming to this place for years and unfortunately the quality has changed a lot. Quantity and not quality. Apart from having a menu entirely dedicated to celiacs and then not guaranteeing the non-contamination of the ingredients used, however we were at least informed. Pizza with cooked ham (one finger high), very poor table service (asked for bread and salt twice and never brought). It's a shame, it was a point of reference for dinner... We've always had a good time, it's a shame!
