A small bar in a very characteristic location: Villa Litta in Lainate. A lovely place for aperitifs!

BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS We stopped here during a bike ride... we thought, "One is as good as another," but instead... it's a clean place, including bathrooms, friendly staff, and the best cream brioche ever... (with a generous amount of filling, which is rare in the north). WOULD I GO BACK? Of course! I want to try other specialties. It's also easily accessible by bike thanks to the Villoresi cycle path.

I just stopped in for a simple after-dinner drink on a warm summer evening (the canned/bottled beers are a bit pricey, though not ordinary and from reputable producers). I appreciated the large outdoor space (suitable for groups of more than ten) and the location near the charming Villa Litta. One downside: it's a little difficult to find the bar entrance for non-locals. Furthermore, for those with wheat allergies (yes, they exist too), after 9 pm there's practically no chance of eating anything without serious side effects.

We went to Al Canevone for the first time on the recommendation of friends, and we were won over! The location is truly beautiful and well-kept. We particularly enjoyed the aperitivo: not only was it very generous, but it was also excellent value. Special mention goes to the attention paid to celiacs, with special options that unfortunately aren't available everywhere. An excellent experience that we will definitely repeat!
