Al Cancelletto In

I visited this small restaurant in the historic center of Amalfi with my daughters. Besides the kindness and professionalism of the staff, we felt at home. We enjoyed seafood scialatiello and baked fish with potatoes, olives, and lemon, caught that day and cooked to perfection; we even made the famous "scarpetta" (mop up the bread). Excellent value for money. Wifi access with excellent coverage throughout the room. We will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere with good music. Delicious food with a glass of limoncello on the house. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Wow. We arrived late in Amalfi and didn’t have reservations so we were looking for something close to our hotel. We are so lucky to have gone here. Not only was the waiter so friendly, he made recommendations for us and the food was outstanding. My husband got the catch of the day and he literally brought out the fish to show him it before he ordered it. He was so patient and kind with our questions about the wine and what to order and even brought us some limoncello at the end and a small bruschetta while we waited for our fish. I got the swordfish pasta dish and it was very very good. My husband said his fish, baked with potatoes, lemons, olives and capers was his best meal in Italy and we’ve been all over the country over the last two weeks. We also got their lemon tiramisu and it was very good as well. Highly highly recommend.

Delicious food!! We had a pizza, other meals looked delicious too. Service was very friendly, great atmosphere, very reasonable price. 100% would return if it wasn't our last day in Amalfi.

The food was nice and intresting but the portions were small to my taste. Cost euro 25 per person with out wine .

We loved our dinner at „al Cancelletto“. Agostino and his crew helped us out at finding the right dish to order. We went for the catch of the day. Grilled red snapper sided with tasty potatoes. The ambiente right in the center of Amalfi is lovely and the service is wholehearted and honest. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would love to come back some day!

Il personale ha fatto di tutto per rendere memorabile la nostra esperienza culinaria. Sono stati attenti senza essere invadenti. Il nostro cameriere era estremamente informato sul menu e ci ha offerto ottimi consigli. Ci siamo sentiti ben accolti. Il servizio è stato impeccabile.
