Al Caminetto In Cameri

We stopped by this little restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm and professional, with a customer service that was evident from the first moment. The welcome entrée was very welcome. The appetizers—crispy octopus and culatta—were excellent, carefully prepared using quality ingredients. The main courses, a beef fillet and a perch millefeuille, were both excellent: perfectly cooked and with well-balanced flavors. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but extremely clean and tidy. Compliments to the staff for their passion and professionalism.

Dopo tanto, troppo, tempo DeGustibus torna a Cameri. Emozionato, suona e Alida apre la bella porta. Da lì entra in una officina del gusto. Innanzitutto vi informo che la Lione-Torino viene fatta, appositamente, per permettere ai francesi di venire ad assaggiare il carpaccio di scottona di Paolo : insuperabile ! Dopodiché ogni piatto sarà la giusta continuazione di un pasto trionfale…

Da anni un posto che non ha avuto cedimenti, ma anzi una costante ricerca in cucina, sala curata e cortesia nel servizio. Prezzi piu che corretti per una ristorazione che lascia soddisfatti sempre. Ogni piatto ha un suo perche' e pochi ingredienti nel giusto abbinamento significano un percorso dello chef intelligente non improvvisato. Gia pane e grissini fatti da loro sono un buon inizio. Ravioli plin a regola arte con una sfoglia sottilissima. Piccione arrostito perfetto e gustoso con mirtilli e carote. Pesce san pietro presentazione ad effetto ed eccezionale al palato. Selezione formaggi accurata. Cantina abbastanza assortita.

What a delightful surprise! We arrived coincidentally to the restaurant- nine people after a ski vacation on Sunday evening. The dishes were excellent and we got a lot of extras - variety of breads, starters, deserts. The service was friendly and patient, and even the single vegetarian in the group received special attention and veggie replacements as needed. Highly recommended!!!
