A welcoming place with impeccable service, exquisite dishes, and an excellent wine list. I'll gladly return, especially considering the reasonable prices for Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The best dinner we had in our week in Cortina. The tuna appetizer, the risotto pasta and the tenderloin steak were absolutely delicious. Definitely come here if you're visiting Cortina reservations recommended.

Al Carmine is a restaurant that keeps you coming back for more. The staff was fantastic, offering charming and warm service from the moment we were welcomed until the very end of our meal. The food was truly amazing. My tripe, in particular, was so beautifully prepared, you could tell it was cooked with care and love.

The food was undeniably great, but the service was disappointing. We arrived at the 7:00 opening time and were told only outdoor seating was available, yet until 8:00, nearly half of the indoor tables were still empty. By the time we left at 8:15, the indoor tables had just filled up. I fully respect that tables can be reserved, but there was no proper explanation. If indoor dining was limited to an hour, we should have been told so we could choose. No one checked on us during the meal, and the wine was never served. It feels like the restaurant relies on food alone while neglecting service—not a good look with the Winter Olympics coming. 😆 The food was delicious enough, but the service was a bit disappointing. When we arrived at the 7:00 opening time, they said only outdoor seating was available, but by 8:00, half the indoor seating was empty, and by the time we left, around 8:15, the indoor seating was full. If there was an hour of indoor dining available, they should have given us a choice (free outdoor seating vs. indoor seating within an hour) or provided a more thorough explanation. There was no service check or wine service throughout the meal. The arrogance of relying solely on the taste of the food won't be easy on next year's Olympic guests.😂

A little outside the city, a five-minute drive, a quiet setting with a carefully curated discovery, a very warm welcome, all the staff were very kind and attentive. Refined dishes. We even tried breaded porcini mushrooms as a suggestion which were fresh and excellent. We also tasted a great Valpolicella wine. All with excellent value for money
