We had a lovely dinner at Al Camin. The setting is cozy. The food was delicious especially the venison ravioli—well presented and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall, a great place for a special meal in Cortina.

Lovely restaurant up on a hill at Cortina d’Ampezzo. We had a late lunch at 1 pm and the crowd was moderate. The food is hearty and tasty. Do try their venison dishes. The restaurant is really good with their venison dishes. Definitely one of the better Alpine food we have tasted.

Excellent restaurant with a refined menu. Extremely focused wine list with the dishes offered. Efficient and courteous staff. Amazing desserts. The only flaw given the level of the restaurant: they don't accept American Express. Sin. Anyway, worth coming back.

Location accogliente, calda, arredata con stile autentico. Per una cena tra colleghi abbiamo scelto piatti tradizionali che raccontassero il territorio. Buona la selezione di formaggi e mostarde. Da mettere a punto il servizio, predisponendo un cucchiaino per ogni tipologia di mostarda, così da valorizzare l’assaggio. Discreti i casunzei all’ampezzana con rapa rossa. Decisamente predominante il finocchietto nella maggior parte del pane e “cracker” servito.

28/08/2025: Simply wonderful. Da Aurelio gets it right at every level. A beautiful location with great staff and fantastic food. It was full of locals today celebrating a variety of events. Luigi and his team are absolutely charming and friendly. The gnochetti were delicious and the fillet steak stunning. A really good wine list and plenty of grappa to try at the end made for a thoroughly memorable experience.

04/09/2025: I can only express my opinion here and not give a rating! But my opinion in one word: WOW!!!! We came here on a motorcycle tour for a quick lunch...and the day was saved. This small restaurant is an insider tip par excellence - a WOW. From the outside, it appears rather inconspicuous after several bends up out of town...and then you enter a bar with a few seats...everything is decorated in a very modern-rustic style, not kitschy, everything is beautiful with very friendly service and, above all, excellent food - my enthusiasm is still immense; the gnocci with Gorgonzola and bacon alone ignited a culinary firework - exceptional and always worth a recommendation. If you're in the area and miss this, you're truly missing out on something extraordinary. The price is completely reasonable and, for this quality, it's even good value. I would have liked to try the venison goulash, but it was just too much for me, lest I fall asleep on the handlebars while digesting it...but my tip: go there, it's worth the longer journey!
28/08/2025: I love the pasta & funghi of them! The mushrooms was so tender and it melts in my mouth. The polenta was also delicious! To be honest amazing decorations they have! But it was a bit squeeze inside it especially when its get crowded. And the panna cotta was underwhelming. Would say a fair price, though the portion was small.
