Very nice atmosphere, a little formal. Friendly and helpful staff. Cortina prices (first courses €18, desserts €10). Negative note: in my opinion the casunziei with red turnips were reheated, and I shouldn't have to pay €18 for reheated pasta (it shouldn't even be served in a restaurant). My dinner companions, however, found their first courses very good (tagliolini with venison and first course of the day)

Typical restaurant of the Ampezzo valley located in Alvera', worth mentioning for the quality of its dishes, for the execution and for the top quality products used. The service is friendly and courteous and the location is very well looked after. Fair value for money. We recommend visiting by reservation.

To a Florentine (like me), suggesting the fillet, strictly rare, wrapped in speck is heretical. But if the dish is balanced by perfectly browned potatoes in the oven, by porcini mushrooms delicately placed on top and above all by very finely chopped speck... you change your mind even with D.O.C. Florentines.
The appetizers are out of the ordinary and highly imaginative and the desserts are typical but impeccable in execution. High level wine list. Courtesy of all the staff and attention to detail both at the table and in the furnishings. I will be sure to return to confirm this first approach on a summer evening, immersed in a storm with lightning and thunder.

We were extremely tired from travelling and jet-lagged and this place was a great comforting spot. Food was warm and delicious. We had the gnocchi and lamb. Service was also excellent. They treated us with great service, not caring how we dressed (like typical tourist with bagpacks).

I believe this restaurant offers the best dining experience in Cortina, certainly the best value for money.
Fast service by friendly people, excellent and well presented dishes.

Really good local food. We especially enjoyed the venison main. Service was friendly and the atmosphere really relaxed.
