The place is quaint, the food is very good. Welcoming and attentive staff. I would say that moving from the Modena area to go to the Cacciatore restaurants is a pleasant trip. Gabriele is always careful about his guests.

Super place above Albinea. Excellent appetizers, crepes and main courses. To say the waitress was friendly would be an understatement. The person who should be found in every activity in contact with the public.

I went for lunch with a supplier for the first time in recent days, even though it is a historic restaurant in the Reggio area I had never had the opportunity to try it. It did not disappoint expectations 🤩 Abundant and quality starters, superb stew and a limited but refined and also quality wine selection. On an equally positive note, the price: for what we ate and drank, if we had spent €10-15 more each I would have had nothing to say. Recommended😉

Gabriele and Carlo carry on a tradition that is not only family but also historical and cultural. If you go to the Cacciatore, you go to rediscover the aromas and flavors of our cuisine to share with other customers through looks, expressions, gestures that are typical of a tradition that MUST continue in an environment that MUST remain as it is: uncontaminated ! Il Cacciatore is a corner of history and culinary culture of our territory that Carlo and Gabriele take care of and "protect" with passion but above all LOVE!! If you are looking for a trattoria: don't go to Cacciatore. If you are looking for an emotion: Il Cacciatore is your restaurant!

I was passing through as I was visiting a friend. I would happily go back, because I food is really, really good and cooked well. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The prices are not that cheap, but not too exaggerated either. They are worth it for quality. The only flaw, in my opinion, was the fact that it was cool anyway and they kept the door wide open, with people lighting their cigarettes in front of the door. But apart from this microscopic flaw, it is a place that is really worth trying!
