I visited Il Cacciatore – Cucina Casalinga and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive, always ready to recommend the perfect dish with a smile.
The restaurant is welcoming, with attention to detail, and immediately conveys that warm feeling typical of old-fashioned trattorias.
The cuisine is good, authentic, and flavorful, with generous portions and quality ingredients. Among the specialties, the wild boar, venison, and fried mushrooms certainly stand out, truly excellent: well-cooked, flavorful, and perfect for those who love traditional flavors.
A place where you eat well, feel at home, and want to return. Highly recommended!

A historic trattoria in the hills of Reggio Emilia, just outside the city, serving excellent traditional Emilian cuisine in generous quantities. The warm and welcoming atmosphere and the dishes take you back to the home cooking of your grandmothers. The menu offers traditional local first courses, tasty game-based second courses, and homemade desserts. Excellent value.
Special mention goes to Carlo, a master chef, and Gabriele, a true host, who makes you feel at home without ever being intrusive.
