Possibilità di scelta tra impasto napoletano e barese. Ho scelto quello barese, forse comunque troppo secco per i miei gusti, così come x la mozzarella, poca e quindi secca. Per fortuna avevo aggiunto una burrata, che ha sopperito alla scarsità di mozzarella. Locale un po' angusto, servizio un po' caotico.

In Biceglie, if you are looking for a pizzeria with a name that certainly does not go unnoticed, you cannot ignore "Al Buco Favorite". To be honest, with a name like that expectations were… let's say… limited. In fact, not everyone is desperately looking for a "hole" to satiate their appetite. But, surprise! The internal environment is welcoming, almost restaurant style, and with a medieval touch that manages to add a bit of unexpected charm. My husband Federico and I started with an appetizer of speck and mozzarella rolls. Good, nothing to say, even if the portion was closer to the concept of a "little taste" than to that of a "substantial appetizer". We accompanied them with french fries, simple and without frills. In short, nothing particularly sophisticated, but they were fried properly. Let's then move on to the pizzas: I ordered the "Kiavik" (yes, you read that right, and I even thought they were taking me for a sewer!), but I have to admit that it was really tasty. Federico, on the other hand, opted for a “Black Angus” – definitely a high-sounding name for a pizza. We were both satisfied, and even a little surprised, by the full flavor and quality of the ingredients. Finally, speaking of prices, considering that we were in excellent company (including friends of a certain caliber such as Olivia Rodrigo and Ana de Armas), we paid a total of 17 dollars. In short, the bill was quite reasonable, especially given the general quality and the exceptional company.

Location in the historic center. Too full due to too many people in the room... Once seated you can no longer get up from your seat. Very good pizza and acceptable costs.
