Tourist menu €13, we have not been charged for service or cutlery. The treatment was very correct and so was the food.

The place used to be Al Brindisi, then it changed hands and became Gino's, but it hasn't changed yet on Google, the waiter boy told us. The waiter was Albanian, had some knowledge of Turkish, and was very cute. The food is not bad.

Antonio was so friendly!
When I looked at the reviews before the meal, I broke out in a cold sweat because they said it was a rip-off, but I guess they noticed that we were looking at the reviews, so they asked us 5.6 times to leave a good review on Google. I was able to pay the price exactly as stated (lol)
It seems like you care about reviews, so I'll give you a high rating!

I can't understand the negative reviews. We have been here 3 times now. Always eaten well, the friendliest waiters we had in Venice, great atmosphere, we would come back at any time.

Service and food both pretty solid in my opinion. A bit overpriced maybe, but in line with other pricing in Venice.

Not sure why everyone is bashing this place. The food was absolutely fine and although there was a service charge we expected it as there is hardly any place that doesn't do this. The service charge is per person though so maybe this caught people out. Staff are nice too, there were a couple who looked bored but they were young and there was no malice etc. Wouldn't specifically recommend but also wouldn't dissuade anyone from coming here.
