Al Borgo In Castelfranco veneto

Fantastic family run trattoria. Their flagship dish is the "bollito" that they serve in the traditional Veneto style. It consists of non prime cut of beef and pork that are boiled and served with local sauces (cren or chrain (a horse radish made sauce), green sauce, mostarda (that is not mustard, it is a sweet and sour sauce apple based)). The local vegetables are also deliciuous (a variety of chicory, spinach), mashed potatoes and the always present polenta. They also have a variety of grilled dishes that I didn't try, but looked good. Great ambiance and very reasonably priced. If you want a traditional meal in the heart of Veneto this is the spot to go

locale carino e molto affollato. servizio lento e informale. Piatti buoni ed abbondanti, tutto come in agriturismo. Purtroppo prezzi alti, più da trattoria, non ritornerò.
