Al Bocconcino In Orbassano

We turned to them to have a different dinner with my boyfriend. I must say that the dishes, in addition to being in line with the Tuscan culinary culture, are truly exquisite. The place is a bit small, especially in winter (you can't use the outdoor area), but well looked after in detail. The staff is helpful. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the waiting time to take the command. Taking two first courses, a second course and a dessert, drinking water and coca-cola, we spent 30 euros each. Suitable in price for the menu proposal, the venue and the quality of the ingredients used.

If you want to eat something special and Tuscan, exquisite dishes, not abundant but good. The costs, however, are above average, for example a plate of pappardelle pasta with wild boar ragout for €15.50. All in all recommended for its particularity.

When I'm near Orbassano, it's always a pleasure to stop by for a Tuscan "SNACK". Excellent quality, average price, friendliness and high level service! Excellent starters, first courses, second courses, wines... in short, everything. Try it to believe it

Honestly a little expensive and for what we spent I would have expected better. €85 per person for a 1kg steak and something to split between 2 which wasn't even anything special, seems a bit excessive to me. With that money you can have a wedding lunch or dinner and even fish if you want. On a positive note, the dessert was really good, but otherwise I would hardly go back for the money.

Excellent food, starting from the platter full of excellent quality cold cuts and cheeses, the very tender meat and the generous portions. It's a shame that we ruined everything at the time of payment, asking me to pay in cash for a discount (who knows why...) instead of by credit card and making me pay for the wine, which on the list was €24 per bottle, at €26. Which I didn't realize immediately. I just have to say that if we all paid taxes, we would all pay less.

I have had the pleasure of dining at this location more than once, and each time I left very satisfied. I advise.

Dinner with friends (11), we choose this location heartened by the good reviews, unfortunately there was no place for the table in the splendid, well-kept outdoor area with a nice atmosphere. To start, while we were waiting to choose the courses, the host advised us and brought three platters with excellent cold cuts and some accompanying flatbread. Generous platters so we only have one course each, some ordered the pici, some the meat, I personally ordered a really tender and good Chianti fillet. All accompanied by a bottle of Saraja and one of red, which I don't remember having drunk the white. Various waters, coffee and to finish a tiramisu. €36 each, I would say a more than fair price.

Average food... pleasant place... hospitality and service not the best... waiting for a dessert after the meal more than 40 minutes. I thought that having had many requests waiting, the staff probably went haywire at some point! I hope they can improve especially in managing customers and possibly also a little more friendliness at the tables from the owner
