Al Battistero In Monte sant'angelo

The pasta was exquisite. The chef prepared the flaky pasta with tomato, eggplant, and cheese (similar to the standard), along with excellent wine and, above all, the friendliness and courtesy of the host. Getting to this place for those with limited mobility would be a bit difficult, but not impossible.

Very friendly service, fresh local food, top-notch, simply delicious, always a pleasure to go back. We were there five years ago and highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The dishes are tasty, plentiful, and the price, so far, is fair. Unfortunately, prices in the area tend to rise every year, and I really hope the same doesn't happen here, because it would be a shame to ruin such a place. If the prices stay the same, I think this place fully deserves five stars: central location, friendly staff, and truly satisfying cuisine.

Trattoria just steps from the Basilica of San Michele. The simple menu features delicious traditional dishes (the grilled caciocavallo is superb) and the prices are more than fair, considering the generous portions. The house red wine is fantastic. Special mention goes to the staff: young, kind, friendly, very personable, and eager to share local stories. Highly recommended!!!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, so close to the sanctuary. The staff and owner were exceptional, accommodating all our needs and were courteous and very helpful. The food was also excellent. We chose the €28 menu, which included an appetizer of excellent cured meats served with soft, fragrant bread; orecchiette with creamed turnip greens, delicious, very fragrant, and a little spicy; and a main course, a grilled platter of various cuts of meat with a side of fries and salad, all very generous. They even served us a plate of orecchiette with ragù as a starter; to finish, they brought us classic wafers with almonds and their own amaro. I highly recommend this place for a happy, pampered, and above all, peaceful day, as if you were spending it with family. The owner creates a truly family-like atmosphere; we'll definitely be back! I recommend booking.

Michele welcomed us right away to this place as if we were family. The food was excellent, we ate really well and were very satisfied. The staff was also very kind, professional, and friendly. Good food, welcoming staff, decent portions, but unfortunately limited selection. Recommended for those who want to eat very close to the sanctuary without spending a fortune. The price is negligible for the location. The reservations management is a bit strange. I'm very disappointed that it can't make the leap in quality, considering it operates right in front of the town's main monument.
