We went on August 15th. The food was good, with a set menu. I would have preferred some local specialties. The waiter was a bit rude.

Needing lunch after touring the town we found Al Barone open, not easy on rainy Tuesday in October. There was a large tour group who arrived ahead of us so the staff were challenged at times. Aside from the service, the food was good and we were pleased. We started with sample of local cheese and I had pasta course. Both were good. My wife loved her soup of fava and chicory. While they cater to tourists, the restaurant does not feel like a "tourist restaurant", if that makes sense.

If you're looking for the best pizzeria in Puglia, this is probably one of the best. Not only are the pizzas exceptionally good (dough/toppings) and wholesome, the other dishes, appetizers, and desserts are also delicious. Special praise goes to the entire crew, who put their heart and soul into their work. And you can see that in the resulting results. Keep it up! P.S.: Be sure to reserve a table, as they're usually fully booked.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The dining room was well-ventilated and clean. The tourist menu was excellent in quality and offered just the right amount. The price was more than fair, including water, wine, and a choice of salad and excellent fries. Next time I'm in Monte Sant'Angelo, I'll definitely eat at Al Barone.

15/12/2025: We went to *Cupido* for dinner and were thrilled! We started with the "Cupido" aperitif: a delicious, generous selection, and meticulously prepared, perfect for a delicious start to the evening. Followed by a truly excellent first course of *spaghetti with clams*: flavorful, well-seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. The *pizza* is a real guarantee: light and digestible dough, perfectly cooked, and generous toppings. The menu also offers many *fish* options, ideal for those who want something different from the classic pizza. Welcoming place, attentive staff, and excellent value. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
24/08/2025: The atmosphere is lovely; although the inside dining area is small, there are plenty of tables, and in the summer you can also eat outside. The pizza is delicious, and you can also order fish and meat dishes. The owners are friendly and welcoming, always available to accommodate any request.

07/10/2025: A real Italian restaurant. It doesn't get any more authentic than this! Great pizza, and I think that's a sign of quality when things are out of stock. The prices are great.
