I think it's the only one open in Grotte. Clean environment, simply furnished. I had the bruschetta with liver pâté, pasta (lilleri) with sausage, porcini mushrooms and truffle and dessert. All good but, a piece of advice for the kitchen: it's better to cool the livers and not serve them straight out of the fridge; truffle and porcini mushrooms have two strong flavours, one cancels out the other. The toilets are clean and spacious, the only flaw is the toilet seat broken in half. The bill is normal considering that the first course chosen is the most expensive. Let's see if when I return they have followed the advice

Our friends took us to this very nice little restaurant. I would have had a pizza but they didn't do them tonight, so we opted for an appetizer and first courses. The appetizer was well organized and stocked with cold cuts, cheese, croutons, bruschetta with lard, fried pizza and ham. I had the ricotta and spinach ravioli with ragù, my son the tagliatelle. Everything was delicious and the portions were right. My husband had local pork, delicious and cooked very well. As for the desserts, I have to say we were all a little disappointed. The very small ricotta and pear pastry, also the bassina panna cotta..... In short, I didn't give 5 stars because a dessert that costs €5 should end the evening on a high note. The place needs to be improved. Semi-dented parts of the wall and some improvements to be made would make it top.

I can't say I had a bad meal, but I wouldn't go back. Long waits, unjustified because there were only three tables. Gourmet cuisine prices, but not the necessary attention to detail. Unseasoned meat and, if we didn't ask, we weren't even provided with what we needed.

Chosen at random, this restaurant was the right choice, good food, Roman tripe pici with sausage and spaghetti with lard, very good, I recommend it and we will return soon

Prima cena della nostra vacanza a Grotte di Castro. Pietanze molto molto buone. Forse l’ambiente merita un po’ di maquillage.

Locale piccolo ed un pò dimesso, ma ottimo servizio scelta dei vini e cibo. Buona qualità prezzo.

Piatti di buon livello, presentati bene, gentilezza, prezzi assolutamente equi. Difficile trovare di meglio in Tuscia.
