The location is great, and the staff are pleasant and friendly. Enjoying gelato while taking in the view of the square is a great way to spend some time.

I can only comment on the ice cream, and it was very, very good, excellent. The best of a week in Rome. My recommendation is Frutti di Bosco.
Reading the comments here, we weren't the only ones who fell in love with the two waiters 😄 lovely people.

This was a great end to our Rome trip. The service is very authentic, with two brothers (twins) entertaining all the guests. A little fun, along with good Italian ice cream, a very good espresso, and a great atmosphere.

The gelato here was excellent! The pistachio flavor was just right, and it was the best I've ever had. 😋 (The gelato I had elsewhere had a really strong almond flavor, which was terrible. 😱) The waiter was also really fun and funny. 🤣 He even took a photo with the waiter, who said he was my twin. ✨ (He joked so much I'm not sure if they were actually twins. 🤣) It was so fun meeting him on my last day in Europe. 😊 Thank you. 💕

Ai Tre Tartufi has been serving artisanal gelato since 1896, and it came recommended by our local guide. Located right in the heart of Piazza Navona, it is considered one of the best spots on the square. I suggest trying a medium cup with three different flavors — a delightful treat after a long walk under the autumn sun.
The service can feel a bit rushed due to the heavy flow of tourists in Piazza Navona. It may not be the very best gelato I’ve had in Rome, but it’s still a pleasant and refreshing stop in the historic center.

We found ourselves at the Pizza Navona the other morning and had not eaten breakfast and I am usually against eating at establishments that are so touristy in main squares however we had no choice but to do so as we were hungry and had not eaten.
We tried all the hot croissants of which there were pistachio, cream di limone, chocolate and marmalade fruit of the forests. They were all amazing as were the coffees. Our children had pasta and they absolutely loved the amatricana.
The quality was very good indeed considering where we were. The service was amazing! Sabino was extremely patient and worked so hard together with his twin brother! I will be back! Thanks so much for your patience!

I thought this place deserved higher than a 4.3, so I rated it 5 stars. It’s not the greatest place you’ll ever visit, but it’s a pleasant experience in a nice Piazza.
The staff are friendly, the food is fresh & you can watch the world
walk past.
