I’ve been here five wonderful times but I’m so embarrassed to have brought my friends here tonight. I have no problem with relaxed service but I’ve never been ignored by a waiter for over 40 minutes. Took 90 minutes to get water. After nearly two hours our meals finally came out. Two meals were good but the roast pork was dry. The wine is usually great, but unfortunately the rosato was terribly sweet. The red wines we had were lovely - would have loved another glass but it was impossible to order. What a disappointment.

We had such a great time at Ai Tre Scalini! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a fun, bustly vibe that makes you feel part of the energy of the place. The music — classic American oldies — added so much charm, and we loved when the staff broke into song. Our waiter had a fantastic sense of humor, kept us laughing, and was wonderfully attentive throughout the meal. The wine was excellent and clearly chosen with care. Food-wise, everything we tried was spot on — especially the Caesarina salad, the lasagna, and the ricotta ravioli. Of all the meals we had in Rome, this is the one place I’d tell my friends they have to try if they’re in the area. It’s the kind of spot that gives you not just a meal, but a memory.

Excellent everything. Especially the friendly service by Camellia. The cheese ravioli was exceptional. Clean bathrooms, they got it all.

I don't really like leaving negative reviews but despite all the positive feedback on Google about this restaurant I was pretty underwhelmed. The food was just OK and the waitress I had was not friendly at all. Just my two cents. 2.5/5

28/09/2025: Fantastic local restaurant in a cute, quiet town outside of Rome. Osteria Lotto champions Slow Food etiquette so expect local, fresh ingredients, a seasonal menu with regular changes, and top notch service. We had a great meal here. Ordered a pasta, seafood dish, and meat dish, paired with wine and beer, and finished with two desserts. It was delicious and each plate / drink complemented each other well. Entire meal was €65 for two people. Highly recommend and would come back.

06/10/2025: I've been to this restaurant twice and was satisfied both times, both with the dishes themselves and the pizzas. I highly recommend it.
29/09/2025: I've been going to this osteria for many years. Ever since the first time with my family, I've recommended it to everyone, I tell everyone about it! It's a place steeped in atmospheres of the past, it reminds me of old Totò movies, it takes you back to that beautiful and authentic Italy of old. The food is spectacular! Tourists should go there to taste authentic Roman cuisine, and everyone else, well, do you remember grandma's cooking? You'll find it here!! The house specialties? Pork ribs and chicken cacciatore: I've never tasted more tender and juicy meat! But also eggplant parmigiana, chicory, roulades, meatballs, and pasta dishes—all excellent!! The owner is very friendly, and the waiters are very kind and professional. Go there, you won't regret it...
