Let me start by saying that we are lovers of the Middle Ages theme, and here we have found the place that was missing! I had dinner last night with my wife and our children aged 4 and one and a half. The place is as we expected, warm, welcoming and consistent with the intended theme. Celtic music that pampers you during dinner, in the ancient vaulted rooms with candles and lanterns, which offer soft, intimate and relaxing light. The innkeeper is very capable and super kind, like all his collaborators. We took a fried pan with patanegra lard and truffle stracchino cream, really abundant, we divided it into 2 with the wife. Then mixed grill for her and soup of the day for me (black cabbage, potatoes, carrots and porcini mushrooms), amazing and abundant. The baby was served first with ice age themed crockery, and super thin and light frankfurter pizza (they use beer in the dough of everything which makes everything super digestible and not very salty) the one and a half year old girl was nibbled a bit by us. To drink we had 3 amazing pints on tap and at the English pump, water, pistachio tiramisu and their herbal digestive. We were impressed, the place is authentic, the quality/price ratio is excellent.
