What delicious pastries, absolutely superb. A must try. Their espresso and grappa are so good. Plus the nicest staff in the world. You have to visit this place.

Our mid-morning snack at 10:00 was quite good. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place for you. Locals seem to love meeting here for an espresso. Even the fishermen pop over to the little café. One thing to note is that it was the only café open in December. Otherwise, the place is dead. In the summer, the place seems to be so packed that you apparently have to take a number to be served. 🤣 Do you see the digital display in one of the pictures? The roll of numbers is located to the right of the entrance, where there are two standing tables. 😉 The village is a bit cleaner than the rest of the south coast. It's fair to say that the entire southern part of Sicily resembles a garbage dump, so as a tip, just skip this area or bypass the coast by driving inland. It only gets cleaner from here on the west coast. The small café is located right in the heart of the village and is easily accessible on foot via the "beach promenade" 😉🐕‍🦺. You can't drive there with a campervan. However, there's a campsite where you can park comfortably. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to the café. Dogs are welcome in the café; they're tolerated. By the way, if it's busy downstairs and outside, you can sit upstairs on the first floor. What I found hilarious was that you order at the counter on the left, and then they shout from left to right, where the cash register is, what the customer has ordered. So then you have to go over to the right and get back in line to pay. Typical Italian, functional chaos. 😂🤣 If you're coming here with your dog, you should also be aware that there are many stray cats. The locals take good care of them by feeding them. It seems to be the standard practice throughout Sicily. So, the journey continues. 😎🐕‍🦺🚐
