I had the most incredible time dining here last night. We had a large group of 7, and were fortunately able to get a table later in the evening (8:30pm). It was immediately clear that we were in for a treat. The owner, Andrea, was charming, funny, and took so much pride and love in his selection of ingredients and wine. Our entire group agreed that it was the best dining experience of the entire trip.

A fantastic, one-of-a-kind restaurant. The owner runs the kitchen and dining room single-handedly, creating delicious, fresh dishes. He has a great sense of humor and makes for a truly enjoyable experience. The vegetables are fresh, local, and perfectly seasoned. The pasta with langoustines is divine! It's a rare find in Venice…

We enjoyed the dinner here about 2 years ago and having had very good memories of it and its nicely eccentric owner we booked a table and were looking forward to the same quality and service… but this time it was unfortunately not as good. The meals descriptions are still inventive and inviting but 2 out of 3 meals I ordered were overloaded with (rather dry) bread on the bottom of the plate which created the impression of abundance but was detrimental to overall quality and the 3rd one was overloaded with thick sauce which killed all other tastes. Without going into the details of each course we agreed that it was overall a disappointing experience… The owner - who is the cook and the waiter in one person - was entertaining as always but stopped paying attention to us as soon as the only one other table became occupied by Italian guests. I guess this dinner was a confirmation that we should not try to relive great experiences of the past 😉 P.s. to be fair: the wine selection was great.

Came here for some wine and snacks in the evening. Andrea was very welcoming and knowledgeable, giving us great advice and testers of wines. We had a lovely conversation and really enjoyed it - the food and wine was great. Next time we will come for dinner!

A truly unique place, not to be missed! Tucked away behind a bridge and down a narrow alley, you'll find this restaurant! The talkative owner does it all! The welcome, the service, the cooking, the washing up, and the atmosphere! A colorful character, his cuisine reflects his personality! Original, flavorful, vibrant, generous portions, fresh—in short, it has it all! Don't miss it!

A small osteria near Piazza San Marco. A welcoming place, the host is super friendly and happy to make small changes to the menu. Highly recommended!

A tiny restaurant run by Andrea, who has a great sense of humor and, most importantly, made me the best pasta of my life. Her wine selection is also wonderful. A must-try!

Andrea provides a true experience from his beautiful restaurant by the bridge. It was by far our highlight of the cuisine in Venice. Incredibly fresh and seasonal produce with deep and creative flavours. His carbonara and squid ink pastas are truly the best! Thank you for an incredible evening Andrea - one we shall remember for a long time!
