Everything was perfect, fantastic place, well maintained, excellent cuisine, I recommend it if you want to try seasonal dishes in a very welcoming location, with helpful and professional staff.

We had lunch at Mulinars, excellent dishes, tastefully presented, and a stunning location. We had a great time and will definitely return. However, I would make a few observations: - The wait was a bit long (especially for main courses). - The service was adequate, although not very warm.

A refined atmosphere, attentive, courteous, welcoming, and highly competent service, and excellent dishes, both for the quality of the ingredients and the intricate, perfectly executed pairings, as well as the execution; the research that goes into each dish is evident. The house-produced herbal rum and the wine pairing suggestions are appreciated. Highly recommended, especially for those who appreciate slightly more sophisticated cuisine.

Ai Mulinars is an experiential journey through the tastes, flavors, and freshness of the region. The selection of ingredients is excellent, and the cuisine is equally astonishing, leaving a mineral flavor in every dish that keeps you glued to Friuli. The wine subscription is excellent.

Pizzeria al Caminetto

23/09/2025: I've been frequenting this lovely pizzeria in Maniago Libero for years, and I can assure you that if you like Neapolitan pizza, here at Caminetto you'll find the best in the area! The owner and chef, a young and enterprising woman, comes from a family of chefs and puts her heart and soul into her work! All the ingredients are carefully selected, healthy, and delicious, from the flour used in the dough to the delicious mozzarella. Highly recommended.

Osteria da Afro

18/10/2025: Ristorante da Afro is one of my regular stops during my travels in Friuli. I started, as usual, with the excellent San Daniele prosciutto and then tried the Asìno cheese, typical of the Vito d'Asio and Clauzetto area. We then continued with the fragrant tagliatelle with truffles, and the Acqualagna dish is tagliatelle with mushrooms and white veal ragù. The fiordilatte ice cream was excellent. We also tasted a fine Sauvignon from a local winery that held its own against the renowned Collio wines.
16/10/2025: The hotel and restaurant are highly recommended. The rooms are large, well-equipped, and very clean. The dining room and breakfast room are very elegant and homey. They perfectly complement the traditional dishes, which are also regionally and seasonally adapted. The chef himself speaks very good German, is helpful, and offers good tips.
