Excellent lunch. Carbonara that tasted like it was made in Rome, a burger that smelled of charcoal, and cabbage with pancetta that brought tears to my eyes because it reminded me of my grandmother. Very kind and fast service. Highly recommended.

We want to eat some bigoli: We're passing through, looking for a quick lunch and a chat. We called, and they had room! The staff was young and friendly, the bigoli (we ordered two different toppings) were elegantly presented and tasted excellent, so inviting we forgot to take a photo. And then we even mopped up the bread with our sauce 😋.

Average. The pizza is good, but nothing special. The atmosphere is a bit sterile, at least in the small dining room. The staff is friendly, but they often forget there are customers even in the small dining room...

I call around 6:20 PM, no one answers. I call back after a few minutes, and a guy answers laughing. I order four pizzas for a quarter to 8. At 7:35 PM, I'm already at the pizzeria. There's only one other person before me. I discover they've written 8:15 PM instead of 7:45 PM and point out the mistake. They tell me they'll do their best (as if it were my mistake and they were doing me a favor). After watching I don't know how many other customers come in and immediately leave with their pizzas, I finally leave with mine half an hour later, at 8:08 PM. No apology received. PS: The pizzas were good as usual, but based on the way I felt treated, I don't think I'll be back.

21/02/2026: If you're looking for a place in Padua where you can eat great, drink great, and you don't need a mortgage, stop by Pizzeria Sotto Casa on Via Buonarroti. We were a group of nine. We stopped in for a quick aperitivo and were immediately won over: a €3 Spritz (a real mirage these days!), a Hugo, and a fantastic focaccia. We enjoyed it so much that, in the end, we ordered a second helping and stayed for dinner! The pizzas are fabulous: an absolute honorable mention goes to the one with radicchio and melted cheese, a true delight for the taste buds. The real surprise? The bill. We spent exactly €100 for nine of us on dinner. A rare honesty, combined with a welcoming and informal atmosphere. If you're passing through, do yourself a favor and sit at one of their tables (we recommend number 54!). Kudos to the entire staff! Oh, I forgot... as the icing on the cake, before leaving they kindly "forced" us to drink a complimentary amaro on the house!
