Total hidden gem with superb food, excellent wine and outstanding service.
This is tucked away in a residential neighbourhood off the tourist routes and was THE absolute best restaurant we went to in Rome, by a massive margin, and that’s saying something in a City with hundreds of brilliant places to eat.
Classic Roman food cooked to perfection with a smile and a wealth of personality.
Every dish was exceptional - what can I say more!
If I or my kids ever go to Rome again, I know we will head directly to Ai Cocci!

Two days earlier, we had walked past this restaurant and found a long line.
So we returned, but after making a reservation.
Since a dish was no longer available, my wife followed the server's advice and simply ordered the pasta carbonara.
It was, without a doubt, the best carbonara we've ever had.
The rest of the dinner unfolded with the same feeling of fullness and generosity.
I recommend it.

Lunch on August 15th. Even without a reservation, they made a table available for us. The quality of the food was truly excellent at a fair price. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

The place is nice, better prices than the ones around it. The pasta is spectacular, both of them. I would suggest cacio e Pepe for the pasta if you are indecisive. Bruschetta is decent. The workers are so friendly and helpful. Huh, romans as usual :) .

The food is delicious, the service is quick. You have to book a table or you'll wait forever, and I'm not surprised! If I ever return to Rome, I'll definitely visit this Restaurant with a capital R.

Excellent meal in a lovely, traditional Roman restaurant, both our mains and the puddings were amazing. Service was great as well and I would recommend this restaurant.
Only thing to be aware of is that pizza is not served until 7pm. It's Rome, not Naples apparently 😂 We were fine with that but others may want to know.

Prima sera romana, ristorante consigliato dalla proprietaria del B&B.
Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti.
Cucina tipica romana, carciofi alla giuria e alla romana, trippa, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, gricia, tutto davvero ottimo.
Ottimi anche i dolci in particolare il cheese cake, tradizionale ma ben fatto che, negli ultimi tempi sta diventando una rarità.

Ottimo ristorante, siamo arrivati in 2 senza prenotazione col locale quasi pieno ma sono riusciti a trovarci comunque un tavolo, abbiamo ordinato due secondi di carne, la carne era cotta alla perfezione e veramente tenera, l'ambiente carino e ricercato, ma il punto di forza è il servizio, attento, gioviale ma non invadente, cortese, veramente un ottimo ristorante, esperienza da riprovare
