We came here wandering through Venice, the food looked good and had a lovely welcome by staff. Only when we sat down did I check the reviews and was unsure of what was to come but to our pleasant surprise it's worth a decent rating. Our food was delicious (although I admit ordering simple dishes on account of the reviews), we had: carbonara, pasta arriabatta, divolo pizza, bolognese and all were fresh and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was quite quiet but the staff were so lovely. I was interesting to read about the vinegary cold red wine, the waitor did tell us it was kept in the fridge so wouldn't advise but we went for the Soave white wine which is only 1hr away and a very reasonable and tasty grape. So don't order the house wine! Additionally, the couple next to us had a variable amount of dishes and none of them looked like a cautionary tale, in fact the prawns looked lovely and I wished I'd had them. I would recommend, don't expect the earth to move, it's very reasonable Italian food and compared to other eateries, very reasonable prices.

We had lunch in this place, sitting at the outside tables. Friendly and quick service, good food; we had cuttlefish with Venetian polenta and seafood spaghetti. Prices are normal even if 7.5 euros for an average peroni is a bit much (among other things, the price of beer is not on the menu...). The fork discount correctly applied. Clean bathrooms.

Atypical review: we entered the restaurant and, after realizing we had rushed to the wrong place, we left, getting up from the table. The staff was super punctual at first and really kind and helpful despite our bitter gaffe. I will probably come back to eat next time too.

Great place with luscious dishes. The pizza and the pasta are incredible and the service is the best in Venecia.

Food was good and service was great. The only thing is that the beer has a different price in the menu from what they charged us.
