We loved this restaurant so much we went back two nights in a row!
We tried the appetizer, first course, second course, side dishes, and dessert, and everything was excellent. Carbonara, gricia, and tonnarelli were truly spectacular!
The restaurant is very cute and spacious, and the staff is truly superb: young, kind, friendly, and cheerful!
The prices are very fair compared to other restaurants in the area (we checked the prices of the first courses at various restaurants), and this, in my opinion, is a real plus! We definitely recommend it!

Ai Balestrieri - Via Alessandria 150 - Rome
A typical Roman trattoria, open since 1862, where we ate superbly; all topped off by the extreme kindness and professionalism of the entire staff, especially Giuseppe "Sabato."
Everything was truly delicious, fresh, and local, at reasonable prices.

Delicious food, both for those who want something classic (pizza, pasta) and those who want to try local specialties. I loved the tripe and lamb offal. The oxtail in pasta is also not bad.

Perfect, the menu features excellent food, top-quality ingredients, and the service is fast, professional, and friendly, courtesy of Viola and Marta. We dined as a group with dozens of different, generous, and tasty courses. The house wine was excellent. The appetizers were varied and delicious. The first and second courses, pizzas, and fried foods were all worth trying—you can't go wrong. All this for €33 per person, offering excellent value for money. The bathrooms were clean, large, and comfortable. Ai Balestrari is a Roman experience worth repeating.
