In a small village not far from where I live there is the Vignarello farmhouse, a farmhouse located in the Novara countryside with the possibility of overnight stay. A beautiful place, both for ceremonies and for lunches or dinners, excellent appetizers including the platter of cured meats and cheeses served with the preserves they produce, delicious first courses, try the tagliatelle with Zola or, being a rice area, the blueberry and speck risotto, the sliced ​​beef served with potatoes was also good, finally the desserts, wide choice of desserts made by them including the tart or the mousse to try, in the end I also tried the liqueurs they produce, very good☺️

The start was not the best, but the staff intervened quickly and impeccably. I think the blueberry-speck risotto is their strong point, as is the blueberry salami.

Decent menu even if the wedding cake was not the one agreed but paid more anyway, excellent service! It's a shame that the owner doesn't respect the contractual agreements. Not to be recommended...

Excellent place, I used the restaurant and I must say that I found it excellent. Clean, great food and very friendly staff. I recommend it and will return. The place is spectacular and also excellent for ceremonies and more. Compliments..... Gaetano

21/08/2023: Il Balmone é situato sulla collina che domina la pista di Motocross di Maggiora, un luogo mitico per chi ama questo sport! Il rischio di creare un locale/tributo é stato ottimamente gestito, il locale é bello, ricco di cenni alla storia locale ed equilibrato. L’accoglienza ed il servizio di sala sono degni di nota, personale cortese, disponibile e sempre pronto a dispensare consigli e suggerimenti. Il menù é vario, sia pesce che carne, ottimi i primi, buonissimi i dolci! Assolutamente da provare il dessert chiamato “nocciole,nocciole,nocciole” Tocco di classe: il pane, lievitazione lunghissima, farina Top , lievito madre. Super consigliato!
