My husband and I stopped at their restaurant and had the best cheese and salami sandwiches ever. Excellent home-made products, we will definitely return.

Small chalet with about ten benches and shaded seats next to the river with adjacent parking. Superlative platter of cold cuts and cheeses, for 9+ (crazy lard and bresaola), the sandwich with salamella and cheese is also delicious. Inside they sell cheeses, cured meats and typical local products. The owner is very nice and friendly, an excellent place for a stop before or after a walk in Val Vertova.

Friendly managers, delicious home-produced cheeses, even the beer they produce has its own reason. Outdoor seats in the shade in a relaxing area. Advised.

11/08/2024: Cherubino Gelato is the best we came across In Bergamo and one of the best we have ever had in Italy. The staff were super friendly and the location perfect as there is a beautiful square infront of the shop.

23/08/2024: Visited on a Friday in August for lunch. The environment is a little dated but it's not a problem.. an à la carte or fixed menu is available with 2 first courses, 2 second courses, buffet side dish, water, wine, dessert and coffee for 15 euros, we opt for this. The service seems like the one at home... there are 3 of us and 2 trays are brought with baked pasta and amatriciana-type pasta, to be divided independently among the diners, the same thing for the second courses, for which we are brought some stuffed roast and of veal scalloped with green pepper. The first courses were discreet, the second courses were much less so... regarding the buffet when we realized that we could help ourselves even before the second course arrived... the other restaurant guests, who already knew the formula, had practically brushed everything off :-) In essence: very informal place and average quality.. if you are very hungry and don't care about quality.. and above all you don't want to cook at home.. it's okay... Beautiful view. I didn't photograph the dishes because I was quite unprepared and because they were truly unwatchable. Maybe try again with the à la carte menu (?)
