Excellent location immersed in nature, 20 minutes from Matera, inside a natural oasis. Dated structure but well maintained with impeccable cleanliness. You can dine on site with excellent quality dishes, but the price is a bit high on par with a restaurant where you choose à la carte....

We took the Matera cooking class with Sylvia and the farm tour with Greg. It was the highlight of our trip. As people who enjoy cooking, we enjoyed learning about the history of the farm, how the ingredients were grown, and how to make some traditional southern Italy dishes. We also were able to purchase olive oil and wine from them to bring home. Definitely our best meal in Italy!

L'esperienza presso la Masseria Ventricelli è stata incredibile. Mi sono recata in uscita didattica con bambini di 6 anni e la signora Rossella ci ha accolti con grande entusiasmo. Il suo modo di fare genuino e coinvolgente ci ha permesso di vivere delle ore serene a contatto con la natura e con gli animali, degustando prodotti fatti in casa eccezionali.

Questo agriturismo sa di casa! Cibo buonissimo e preparato con cura. La nonna Marta e la sua famiglia sono stati gentilissimi e molto attenti verso le mie tante allergie alimentari. Consiglio vivamente questo posto! ❤️

Wonderful location, quiet and welcoming. All the dishes were prepared with love and professionalism. Pampered by the crackling of the wood in the fireplace and the courtesy of the staff. The family management makes you feel at ease and makes the experience unique. Highly recommended

We went for a family lunch...EVERYTHING EXCELLENT!!! from appetizer to dessert everything really good and quality. The place is welcoming and is an oasis of peace immersed in nature. The owners are courteous and helpful. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!! TOP!!

13/05/2025: During a weekend in Accettura and the surrounding area, we stopped for dinner at this inn. Even though the restaurant was closed, the owner welcomed us with great courtesy and availability. The experience was simply extraordinary. We started with a rich local appetizer: artisanal cured meats, fresh dairy products, pickles and the inevitable crusco pepper. Next, a first course typical of the Accettura tradition: fresh pasta with pepper sauce, tasty and authentic. As a second course, a mixed grill with sausage, goat and lamb: tender meat, well cooked and full of flavor. We concluded with two ricotta-based desserts, accompanied by a bottle of excellent Aglianico. All at a really reasonable price. If you are in the area, I highly recommend contacting the restaurant and booking. It is really worth it!

La Dispensa di Aquatio

26/04/2025: Ristrutturato con grande successo, il complesso di Aquatio é veramente bello ed accogliente…..tuttavia il servizio (vino versato macchiando tovaglia, impossibilità di cambiar tavolo, etc) ed i piatti non sono ancora all’altezza. Da migliorare! To be improved!
19/02/2025: Piatti eccezionali, abbinamenti di sapori e impiattamento di alto livello. Personale di sala molto preparato e cordiale. Consigliatissimo.
