Agriturismo Valleponci Con Ristorante In Finale ligure

High-quality food prepared impeccably, friendly and professional staff, a location chosen by these fantastic guys who have tastefully revived it, and a wide and refined selection of natural wines. Don't be put off by the 10-minute drive from the center of Finale Ligure (a good stretch of which is on dirt road), once you've visited Valleponci, you'll understand it was worth it. We return AT LEAST once a year because we can't live without it.

A beautiful and peaceful spot near the coast – easily accessible by car bike. The place has a wonderful authentic atmosphere, and we met some amazing people there. We only had the apero, but it was excellent. I was a bit surprised that olives weren’t included, but it seems to be common in all the places we visited.

A top experience, from the welcome, to the appetizer, to the dessert, plus all the side dishes, which in my opinion are worth discovering in person without spoilers.

Beautiful organic farm set in rural Italian hills. Great restaurant attached with food from farm and natural wines. Good walking trails nearby. Highly recommended for a holiday with family or friends.

The location is beautiful but difficult to reach. We all chose different dishes! The portions were almost perfect. The service was forgettable...a long wait. The bill was absolutely awful. If it's an agriturismo, it should be priced like an agriturismo, not like a semi-luxury restaurant. The dessert was tiny, and the wine, made with local grapes, was priced like a Barolo. If it's a real agriturismo, it should respect the standards of an agriturismo! If the prices were lower, I would have recommended it, especially because, I repeat, the dishes are fundamentally good. But not like this!

It was years ago, but I still remember it. Surrounded by nature yet just minutes from the sea, rooms are beautiful in their simplicity, and the cuisine is traditional. Liguria in its essence.

This agriturismo is tucked away in the hills inland from Finale Ligure. To get there, you drive a few kilometers uphill, followed by a long stretch of dirt road through the woods. Despite the difficulty, the route is scenic and peaceful. We were greeted by a friendly horse and found a large, accessible (though unpaved) parking area. The evening started beautifully under a charming pergola with a large wisteria, where we were welcomed by a young and friendly staff. The cuisine leans toward refined and slightly sophisticated, with every dish prepared with care. The presentation is thoughtful, and everything we tasted was flavorful. A special mention goes to the bread, served warm and freshly baked. Among the highlights were the panzanella from the starters and the primo sale cheese by Aldo, one of their local producers. Prices are a bit high, though portions like the lamb main course were generous, making it feel more justified. The interior of the agriturismo is also lovely, with an open kitchen and a large corner fireplace that adds to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a positive experience and one I’d recommend especially to those looking for something more refined than the classic Ligurian agriturismo.

We asked, with due advance notice, for a vegan menu, excellent dishes where you can feel the freshness of the freshly picked vegetables cooked in a non-trivial way. Their wine is also good. Efficient and courteous service. Prices a little high.

We were there for dinner and were able to take a tour of the vineyards and garden beforehand. The experience was truly special for me! The way they strive to work in harmony with nature is truly extraordinary. The same goes for the food – very, very good! Thank you for a wonderful evening, which I will remember for a long time, and keep up the good work!

A wonderful place. A happy island in this territory. Top location, delicious food and impeccable service. The bill? Surprising. Full speed ahead guys! I ask these guys: invade all of Liguria!
